I believe, learning new tools is an important step to succeed in your freelance journey… what’s your opinion?
Although Graphic Designers use many different software tools available for creating designs, Canva is simple to learn and use, especially for beginners.
Canva is an easy-to-use tool to create different products and sell them online. It is also one of the tools that you can learn easily, either on your own or by watching a few tutorial videos.
Here in this blog, I am sharing how only using Canva can help you start freelancing. Below are 3 different ways you can use Canva to service your clients and sell as a freelancer.
As a freelancer, it would be helpful if you learn to design brochures, posters, pamphlets, etc. These products are in high demand as they are required for any product launch, promotion, or educational purposes.
Also, designing brochures or posters is one of the most selling gigs on Fiverr. You can also create one of your gigs on this to sell as a freelance service to your clients.
2. Book Cover Design
Writers and publishers and in need of someone who can design book covers. This is also one of the digital products that you can easily create using Canva and sell online.
Register yourself as a freelancer on different freelance marketplaces and start selling your book cover design or find clients who provide this kind of project to freelancers.
3. Create Social Media Posts
You can create social media posts using Canva for Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube. These posts can be used in your own social media accounts to showcase your skills and the type of services you wish to sell to your clients as a freelancer.

Although I am not a graphic designer, I always wanted to create a few designs by myself. After learning about Canva, I found it easy to use and create certain products like my freelance work portfolio, social media posts, and others. As a freelancer, I used this tool to create product literature and brochures for clients.
